Light & Opened Up Luxury Redesign
Our design team opened up the room with a warm, neutral coat of paint. A large scale grey-tone abstract artwork was chosen to balance the ornate fireplace. A soft neutral shade rug centers the room and pulls opposing couch and chairs together for a cozy sitting area.
With an updated silver color for the chandelier, the living room’s design makes a more hospitable setting for the added contemporary furnishings. The sheepskin throw elevates this room’s soft aesthetics and brings a warmth to the clean architecture. A velvet padded bench allows the viewer a clear view of the stone coffee table and fireplace, while showing more seating can be fit into the design of the room.
Luxury To Be Lived In
We added greenery and flowers to bring in some freshness, and the end tables and coffee table books bring down the formality to suggest a more relaxed environment for everyday use. If this room is making a statement now, it’s definitely saying “luxury can be livable!”
Overall, our staging brought the space more flexibility in terms of style that today’s homebuyer is seeking. This room could be luxurious enough for entertaining a party of 12 or casual enough for a Saturday on the couch with a good book. Neutralizing the color palette and distinct style created a blank slate for potential buyers to make their own.
