Staging a Charming Renovated Property – SOLD in 1-Day!
Today’s real estate market is highly competitive, making it more important than ever, that every listing utilizes home staging to have a winning edge while selling for top dollar.
Chicagoland Home Staging provides that edge with our vacant staging services, allowing us to attract buyers interested in presenting our client’s with the biggest return on their investment.
Our latest home we staged was on a beautifully tree-lined street in Clarendon Hills. The property has been renovated inside and out to feel like a modern, quaint cottage in the woods.
A High-Contrasting Start
As you enter the front door, the newly refinished hardwood floors welcome you into this three-level property. Our team played off the light and dark contrast of the renovated space by using a dark wood chest and a silver framed circle mirror to set the scene of what’s to come as buyers tour this property.
Grab a Seat by the Fire
We highlighted the restored fireplace by positioning furnishings around this living room to encourage a gathering to entertain around the fire. The transitional furnishings helped modernize the home’s classic architecture, creating a space that felt both elegant and fashionable.
A Round Table Does the Trick
Across from the living area was a formal dining space, where we chose to use a black and white patterned rug to anchor a round wooden pedestal table. Playing off the white walls and the new Kolbe windows with black frames our team used cream colored dining chairs with black legs and two vases furthering the high-contrast theme.
First Floor Charm
Other areas on the first-floor of this property includes the bright-spacious kitchen with custom cabinets, quartz countertops, and a vintage brick backsplash.
Whereas off the formal dining area, we dressed up a quiet sitting area to have a cup of tea, journal or read a book in the Florida room.
Bringing the Family Together
The lower level of this property houses a family area where we staged a place to lounge with loved ones, take on a project at the desk and a cozy kid’s area to play on the floor (not pictured). Our team chose versatile pieces all within the color scheme to create one seamless look throughout each level.
A Place to Relax
On the third floor our team staged all three bedrooms constructing unique spaces for each room, so that potential buyers can envision a place to retreat to at night.
This property had an offer pending in just 1-day after being staged and listed on the market. Here at Chicagoland Home Staging we value our client’s time and work efficiently to help provide a quick sale.
